ABOUT

This will be my life project, a project that I will do it as a community service for everyone.

Funeral portrait is just an artifact to remember a person who passed away. After photography have been common among the civilians, funeral portrait have become a norm to most community either east or west.

Interestingly funeral portrait is also a taboo to discuss. Even today, a lot of people found that shooting a funeral portrait could bring them bad luck. There are also people found that proposing someone to prepare for their death is a horrifying thought.

Shooting this series not just experimenting how people would react to my request, but also trying to prove to more people that shooting a portrait would not harm them. At the same time, I do hope more people would have a positive mindset regarding the topic of death.

As a fact, everything is mortal; it's just a matter of time. Appreciate while you are living.
